Terms of Service
Effective 29 October 2026
1. Who we are
NgeNkani is a service that lets a business put what it sells online, take orders, bookings and requests, and keep track of its customers and orders. It is run by Catalyze Now PTY (LTD), Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa ("NgeNkani", "we"). Phone: +27 69 851 8810. Email: support@catalyzenow.co.
By creating an account you agree to these terms for your business. If you do not agree, do not create an account. If you sign up for a business, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it.
2. What NgeNkani is, and what it is not
NgeNkani gives you tools: a storefront, product and service pages, a way for customers to place orders and choose how to pay, bookings, requests, customer and order records, and a plan that you pay for.
You sell to your own customers. When a customer buys from your storefront, the sale is between you and your customer. You are responsible for what you sell, your prices, what you say about it, delivery, refunds and complaints, and any tax you owe. NgeNkani is not the seller.
NgeNkani does not handle your customers' money. Customers pay you directly: by bank transfer into your own account, or to you when they collect. NgeNkani does not receive, hold or pass on that money, does not take a commission, and does not see your bank account. Because of that, NgeNkani cannot tell whether a payment really arrived. You confirm it in NgeNkani when you have checked that the money is in your account.
Online card payment is not offered. If it is offered later, these terms will be updated first and nothing will change without notice.
3. Your account
- Give accurate details, confirm your email address, and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One free trial is available per account.
- Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account: support@catalyzenow.co.
4. The free trial
- The length of your free trial is shown before you create your business and is confirmed in your account. It is 30 days for the first 50 sign-ups and 7 days for sign-ups after that. It starts on the day you finish setting up your business. No payment details are needed.
- When it ends, your storefront pauses unless you have subscribed. Customers can no longer see it, order, book or send requests. You can still sign in.
- Your data is kept. You are not charged automatically when the trial ends.
5. Plans and payment
- Standard: R89 per month.
- Pro: R129 per month.
Prices are in South African rand.
- Subscriptions are paid by card through Paystack and renew every month until you cancel. You choose the plan and confirm the monthly charge yourself before anything is charged.
- A plan change takes effect at your next renewal. Nothing extra is charged when you ask for it.
- A subscription is a charge from NgeNkani to you. It is separate from what your customers pay you.
6. Failed payments
If a renewal does not go through, your storefront stays live for 7 days after the paid period ends while you fix it. Paystack does not retry the card until the next billing date, so you need to pay again from the Plans page. If you do not, the storefront pauses. Nothing is deleted.
7. Cancelling and refunds
- You can cancel at any time on the Plans page. Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep your plan until the end of the month you have paid for.
- Cancelling does not automatically refund the month you have already paid for.
- If you were charged twice or the wrong amount, email support@catalyzenow.co with your Paystack receipt reference and we will check and correct it.
- Nothing here limits any right you have under South African law.
8. Paused accounts and your data
- When a trial or subscription ends, your storefront is paused and your information is kept. We email you a reminder after 90 days.
- We do not delete your information automatically. You can ask us to delete your account and information at any time by emailing support@catalyzenow.co.
- Some records must be kept even if you ask for deletion, for example payment records we need for tax or to deal with a dispute. We will say which.
9. Your customers' information
You decide what information about your customers you collect through NgeNkani and why. For that information you are the "responsible party" under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and NgeNkani is your "operator": we process it only for you and only to run NgeNkani. You must have a lawful reason to collect the information and you must tell your customers what you do with it. NgeNkani shows a short notice at checkout, and you must add your own details.
10. Payments between you and your customers
- Bank transfer. You enter your own bank details and choose whether customers see them. You are responsible for them being correct. A customer's order stays unpaid until you confirm that the money has arrived. A screenshot, a PDF, a WhatsApp message or a customer saying they have paid is not proof: check your bank account. Opening WhatsApp from an order page sends nothing by itself and confirms nothing.
- Pay on collection. The order stays unpaid until you confirm you were paid.
- Your records. Each time you confirm or cancel an order, NgeNkani records who did it and when. This record cannot be edited.
- Disputes, refunds and fraud. You deal with your customers' refund requests, disputes and any fraud. NgeNkani is not a party and cannot reverse a transfer or recover money. We can give you the order's history if it helps.
- Late payments. An unpaid bank transfer order is closed after 5 days. You can still confirm it if the money arrives later.
11. What you must not do
- Sell anything illegal or that you are not allowed to sell.
- Deceive customers, send spam, or take payment you do not mean to honour.
- Put someone else's bank details in your settings, or give details you do not control.
- Try to break, overload or get around the service, or reach another business's data.
We may pause or end an account that does this, and will tell you why unless the law stops us.
12. Availability, liability and changes
We work to keep NgeNkani running but do not promise it will never be interrupted. We may change features and will give notice of changes that matter to you.
13. Ending the agreement
You can stop using NgeNkani at any time. We may end the agreement if you break these terms, with notice where we can give it.
14. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in a way that matters we will email you before the change applies.
15. Law and contact
South African law governs these terms. Questions, complaints and refund requests: support@catalyzenow.co.
